About Calvary Chapel McKinney
Our desire is to grow disciples of Jesus Christ through sound Bible teaching. As a teaching ministry, Calvary Chapel McKinney is expositional in nature meaning we rely wholly upon the Bible and focus on explaining the meaning of Scripture in its historical and grammatical context with the intention of applying it to our daily life.
Verse By Verse
2 Timothy 3:16-17 & 2 Peter 1:21 declare the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God. We study the whole counsel of scripture verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book.
Fellowship
Acts 2:42 & Hebrews 10:25 call us to fellowship as the body of Christ. We gather in person on Sunday mornings at 10:00am to worship and study the word together. We are currently meeting at The Sanctuary Music & Events venue in McKinney, TX.
Spirit Empowered
Romans 8:13-14 & 1 Corinthians 3:16 teach that the Holy Spirit has an active present ministry in the Church indwelling believers to enable them live godly lives as Children of God.
Prayer & Worship
John 4:24 commands us to worship God in spirit and in truth while Colossians 4:2 prescribes that we continue earnestly in prayer. Our services begin with a time of prayer and contemporary worship.
